Talk It In

What does this reveal about God and His work in us?

I. Share about your own “coming to Jesus” story.

  1. How did your relationship with Him first begin, or how is it beginning now?

II. Read 2 Peter 3:18

  1. If you had to rate your own growth in grace and knowledge on a scale of 1–10, where would you place yourself?
  2. What does this verse reveal about God’s desire for growth over time?

Talk About It

How do we practically apply this?

III. Read Colossians 2:6

  1. On a scale of 1–10, how would you rank your life in terms of living with Jesus Christ as Lord of all of your life?
  2. What areas are most surrendered, and which are harder?

IV. Read Colossians 2:7

  1. What intentional choices or rhythms could help your spiritual roots grow deeper in Christ?

V. Read Luke 13:6–9

  1. How have you experienced God’s patience with you as fruit has taken time to grow?
  2. What kind of fruit do you sense God wants to cultivate in your life moving forward?

Talk It Home

What are we doing this week?
  1. As you’ve heard the vision of Cultivate: Grow · Flow · Sow, which part grabs your attention, and why does it resonate with you personally?
  2. How will our church be healthier because of this vision?
  3. How do you believe our valley, our region, and Menifee will be impacted as we live this out?

Prayer Time

Activation: Press Into The Conviction

Each person say what you are most excited and feel the most conviction for with the initiatives in the Cultivate booklet (Menifee Plant, CP en Español, Flow Nights, Discipleship Upgrade, & CP Homefront).

Take a moment for each person to share which Cultivate initiative they feel most excited about and most convicted to engage in (Menifee Plant, CP en Español, Flow Nights, Discipleship Upgrade, or CP Homefront).

After sharing, break into groups based on those shared convictions and spend focused time praying over the initiative God is stirring in your hearts, asking for wisdom, faith, and obedience as you step into it and help own the vision.
