  3. What does it mean to you to read that God is for you?

II. Read Romans 8:32 again

  1. What is the work of Christ on behalf of believers that Paul refers to?
  2. How is this work evidence of God’s unwavering love for us?
  1. Have you ever walked through something that felt like this accusation → condemnation → separation pattern?
  2. Which part of that sequence has impacted you the most?

Talk About It

IV. Read Romans 8:35–37

  1. What situation in your life has required the most perseverance and determination?
  2. What motivated you to keep going in that season?
  3. When is it hardest for you to persevere in your relationship with God or the work He’s called you to?
  4. What factors make perseverance so tough?

V. Read Romans 8:35–37 again

  1. Which listed barrier that cannot separate us from Christ’s love stands out to you most, and why?
  2. What would you add from your own experience?
  3. Why is it that none of these things—external or internal—can separate believers from the love of Christ?

Talk It Home

VI. Read Romans 10:13–15

  1. How can the truth that nothing can separate us from God’s love give you confidence as you walk through the hard places in life?
  2. What does this truth practically change for you this week?
  3. How will you lean into that truth in your daily life and discipleship this week?
