III. Read Genesis 2:18

IV. Think about the shared spaces in your life—work, church, school drop-off, sports, gym, neighborhood.

  2. Is there a space where you want to be more intentional? What might that look like?

V. Think about your current friendships.

  1. Are there any friendships in your life that consistently pull you away from Jesus rather than toward Him?
  2. If so, what healthy boundaries or intentional decisions might honor both your walk with God and that relationship?

VI. Read Proverbs 27:6 and 27:17

  1. Do you currently have relationships that sharpen your faith or character? What sets those friendships apart from the others in your life?

VII. “Sharpening” requires trust, honesty, and permission.

  1. What does it take for sharpening to happen in a friendship, and have you given anyone that level of permission in your life? Why or why not?

  1. Looking at Jesus’ example of friendship, what is one specific way you can be a better friend this week?

Activation: Seeing The Heart Of A Friend

Break into groups of 2–3. Each person gets 3 minutes to answer at least one question below while others listen with curiosity:

  • What’s one thing weighing on you right now?
  • What dream is on your heart in this season?
  • How has God been growing or stretching you recently?

Pray for the needs in your group!
