Talk It In
I. Read 2 Corinthians 3:16–18.
- What does this passage reveal about how God brings freedom and transformation in our lives?
- How is being changed by looking to the Lord different from living under shame or self-fixing?
II. Read 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
- What does this Scripture tell us about God’s view of our bodies?
- How does knowing your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit shape how God relates to you?
Talk About It
III. Conviction is the loving work of the Holy Spirit that fixes our eyes on Jesus and draws us closer to God with hope and freedom, while condemnation is the voice of shame that fixes our eyes on ourselves and pushes us away from Him.
- How have you experienced one or the other, and how did it affect your relationship with God?
IV. Read Romans 6:12–14
- What does it look like in real life to offer our bodies as instruments of righteousness instead of giving in to sinful or unhealthy patterns?
V. Shame was described as a driver of addiction, while surrender brings freedom.
- Why do you think secrecy keeps people stuck, and how does honesty with God and others open the door to healing?
Talk It Home
- Which area do you sense God inviting you to surrender more fully right now (spiritual, emotional, or physical)?
- What is one small, specific step you can take this week to honor God with your body?
- What burden, habit, or struggle are you intentionally giving to the Lord this week, and who will you invite to walk with you through that process?
